
With an aim to enunciate the underutilized and unexploited craftsmanship of local artisans, promote their autonomy and celebrate their work and to break the monopoly of low quality imported shoes and bags from Thailand and China; with the concept of theme-based shoes collection in shoe industry, CHAPTER 13 has successfully amalgamated Pakistani tradition with contemporary fashion.
Always fascinated by their family’s shoe business (Milli Shoes) where most of her expertise was gained, Qurat ul ain, a graduate from University of Manchester UK, launched her own business venture called CHAPTER 13. She was soon joined by her sister, Sadia, who had completed her graduate studies in Leather Accessories and Footwear from Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD). Together, the sisters duo commenced a new and revolutionary high-end line of locally manufactured shoes and accessories on December, 31st 2013.
CHAPTER 13, which is an outcome of family business skills in shoe making, came into being with an aim of providing exclusive local heart made quality produced shoes taking the family business (Milli Shoes) to a higher level. All the creative designs are hand drawn and crafted within the office space in Lahore. CHAPTER 13 offers wide variety of casual flats, formal flats, khussas and accessories (jewelry and bags).
